Verification Page Shortcuts: License and Certificate Verification / Supported Web Browser Information / Paper Verifications / Information for New Applicants

The Ohio eLicense Center website provides online license and certificate verification for RNs, LPNs, Prescriptive and Certificate of Authority Holders, Dialysis Technicians, Medication Aides and Community Health Workers.

As of February 1, 2009, the Ohio Board of Nursing eliminated the issuance of wallet cards due to the fact that paper cards can be forged, altered, misappropriated, do not reflect recent disciplinary action, and can contribute to identify theft and/or imposterism.  Employers and others should verify a licensure or certificate status by online verification.  A screen print of the verification page can serve as proof of licensure/certification for the date printed.
